Visitors at the IBSSA HQ

Prof. George POPPER, GCKM – President of IBSSA reported about the successful meetings and dis cussions with the following IBSSA representatives, members and invited guests:

  1. Dr. Rony KLUGER (ISR) General Secretary of IBSSA
    Dr. Arthur KRAVCHENKO (LAT) Full Member of IBSSA
  2. On the 19th February 2005 a spectacular Doctoral award ceremony of International Budo Academy (IBA) and PRO-DEO University was organised in Budapest / Hungary. It was an important demonstration of the flourishing cooperation between IBA – IBSSA – PRO-DEO and the International Crime Prevention Institute. Sir Arthur KRAVCHENKO (LAT) was among the PRO-DEO Postulants, who prepared an interesting thesis in Security and Protection Sciences, and travelled to Budapest in order to attend the award ceremony.

  3. Rev. Philip J. CASCIA (USA) Honorary Vice President of IBSSA for American Continent
  4. On the 25th February 2005 the 7th International Bodyguard Ball took place in HILTON Hotel in Budapest / Hungary. Rev. Philip J. CASCIA was one of the Honorary Guests of the event. He arrived to Budapest on the 22nd February and had numerous meetings and discussion with the leaders of the Hungarian Section of IBSSA.

  5. Prof. Giacomo Spartaco BERTOLETTI (ITA) Country Representative of IBSSA for Italy
  6. 24 – 25th February: Prof. Bertoletti visited the HQ and had long meetings with Prof. George POPPER – President of IBSSA. Prof. Bertoletti explained that due to the Italian press campaign after the murder of the Italian journalist – killed in Iraq – they decided to change the name of their company in Italy but "WASI" remains an Italian company of IBSSA not an international organisation, and will also represent IBSSA in Italy in the future. Prof. Giacomo Spartaco BERTOLETTI is the present Country Representative of IBSSA in Italy. He offered the services of the Italian Instructor team for IBSSA in the future as well, however he announced that they would not join the “SEC-tember” International Security Training Courses. It was agreed that the Italian Instructors would not organise any courses in September every year to avoid the conflict. Concerning press activities it was discussed that “Sportivo and Security Magazine” will still report IBSSA news and activities but Prof. G. S. BERTOLETTI will change the structure to make it more interesting and spectacular. Prof. George POPPER informed the Italian IBSSA representative that for the 10th Congress of IBSSA in Zlin / Czech Republic a special IBSSA publication will be ready, edited by George B. RÓZSA – PR Chief of IBSSA. At the end of the meeting the IBSSA President invited Prof. Bertoletti and Rev. Cascia to the Shakespeare Restaurant.

  7. Mr. Anatoliy SAVRADEY (UKR) Security expert of IBSSA, Director of Biznes Bezpeka
  8. Mr. Anatoliy SAVRADEY arrived to Budapest on the 7th March in order to report about their activities in Ukraine. Mr. Savradey reported about the present situation of the process to open and coordinate a representative office in the country. They also gave information about the education system of the European University in Ukraine and about several high level training courses, which were organised recently in the country.Mr. Savradey brought numerous photos of their last visit at the IBSSA Headquarters and also photos of the trainings.
