Minutes of the Presidential Board Meeting 27th May 2005, London / United Kingdom

Dr. Rony KLUGER – General Secretary was contacted by mail and phone while in the same time he visited Italy to support and help in setting up the new IBSSA office in Italy.

During the Board meeting the following subjects were discussed and the final decisions were made:

  1. 1. It was positively evaluated that after the total resignation of GSB the work of IBSSA and the development of the federation was going on without any difficulty. The president informed all present leaders that the second number of the IBSSA official magazine would be published before the end of the year. The Board of Directors decided earlier that in the time being there is no need to appoint a new IBSSA-president for Italy, but it is important to have active Regional Representatives. To achieve this aim Mr. Remo GRASSETTI was appointed as Coordinator for Italy.

  2. It was agreed that after the difficult situation in WKC, IBSSA will offer the following: during the next IBSSA congress and Martial Arts World Festival in the United States – 2006 summertime WKC could organise the karate event, which could be also a WKC World Championships or World Cup Tournament.
  3. The president reported that the same day in Hungary the first IBSSA – National Guard joint shooting championship is held. (IDPA rules) The participation and the level of the championships was very high as reported by phone.
  4. The participants of the meeting met also Mr. Tadeus KACZOR – The Honorary Consul of Hungary in Lodz. He is owner of a very serious security company. It was agreed that after becoming IBSSA member Mr. Kaczor would take over the IBSSA representation in Poland.
  5. Future events were discussed:The next SEC-tember was postponed with one week only. The new date is: 20 – 24 September 2005 in Budapest / Hungary. IBSSA Vice President Mr. Stephen CHEE, who could not participate at the last congress, assured his presence at the special training and the planned Education and Qualification Department meeting.
  6. IBSSA development in Holland, Caribbean area and former Yugoslavian republics was positively evaluated.
