Visitors at the IBSSA HQ

Prof. George POPPER, G.O.K.M. – Executive President of IBSSA reported that there were some successful and fruitful meetings with the following IBSSA members

1, H.R.H. Prince Michael James Alexander STEWART OF ALBANY and
Ambassador Abel de LACERDA (POR) Honorary Member of IBSSA, International Coordinator of IBSSA for Brazil

H.R.H. Prince Michael James Alexander STEWART OF ALBANY – Head of the Royal House of Stewart, Seventh Count of Albany and Heir apparent to the Scottish throne – who was accompanied by Ambassador Abel de LACERDA, accepted the invitation to the position of Honorary President of IBSSA.

Prof. George POPPER – Executive President of IBSSA presented the Honorary President’s Diploma and ID-card and Ambassador Abel de LACERDA BOTELHO gave the IBSSA plaque to His Royal Highness. The visit was also used to hand over the Certificate of Appointment – as International Coordinator – to Ambassador LACERDA personally.

2, Mr. John DORA (GBR) Honorary Member of IBSSA, Country Representative of IBSSA for United Kingdom

The purpose of the visit was to introduce the new movie star Mr. Anthony SCHIENA, who will be very soon the successor of Steven SEGAL. Mr. Dora also introduced the US legendary Top Secret Agent – Mr. Frank DUX, who is the author of “The Secret Man”. They wish to start cooperation with IBSSA

3. Dr. Eriks GRINBERGS (LAT) Chairman of Legal Department of IBSSA

Subjects of the meeting: - Establishing an Office in Riga

• Start many new activities inclusive preparations of the 2nd IBSSA World Martial Arts Festival – which will be held in December 2002, Riga/Latvia
• International cooperation and participation in IBSSA projects

4. Mr. Florentin MARINESCU (ROM) IBSSA Master Teacher

Regarding to his professional and high level of work, which was a great support for IBSSA and helped developing its activities, the Board of Directors proposes Mr. MARINESCU’s appointment to Honorary Member of IBSSA during the 8th Congress.

He is one of the best Instructors and Security experts in the world, so we hope to have a successful cooperation with him and he will be an active member in the international training system of IBSSA.
